How about learning how to play handbells!
Asbury has two adult handbell choirs - Joyful Ringers and Hallelujah Handbells. There are no auditions and no prior experience is needed. You don’t even need know how to read sheet music! Both groups will play once a month during the 8:15am and the 11:00am worship services. Each group consists of 11-12 ringers each and have a range of 5 octaves of bells and hand chimes. We will equip you with everything you might need to learn and play with us!
Joyful Ringers
Practice times:
Weekly on Wednesdays from 5:45 - 6:45 pm
Meet in the Sanctuary.
Hallelujah Handbells
Practice times:
Weekly on Thursdays from 6:30pm - 8pm
We only have three requirements
Desire to praise God through music
Have an interest in learning how to ring handbells
Regularly attend weekly rehearsals.
