05.23.21 Pentecost 2021 [Sermon]
Today we celebrate Pentecost. It happened during a big festival 50 days after the crucifixion & resurrection of Jesus… and honestly it was a really bizarre moment. When we read the scripture account of what occurred and when place ourselves in the shoes of an eye witness, we understand why onlookers thought the disciples were simply very drunk. It’s so out of the ordinary but it’s significants is huge.
Pentecost is when the Holy Spirit descended on the believers.
